On the 15th of January 2014, I got married to my lover and Best Friend. It was such an intimate event, I haven't stopped apologising to family and friends who feel slighted that they could not attend. I really did not wish to keep it a secret, If anything we would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us but this was our registry and so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, it was such a huge surprise, I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because I usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe! I am not fully over it yet.
Relationships are tough, people go through the ups and downs and we as a couple have had our share of that. Having a private moment was not to offend anyone, it was God's appointed time and No, I am not pregnant. Lol. Having a baby is a precious gift from God and when that time is right, I am sure he will bless us with ours. Without boring you all, cos you mean so much to me, I have decided to share some of the pictures from the happiest day of my life

Hundreds of men, women and youths drawn from four Ikwerre speaking local government areas of Emohua, Obio Akpor, Port Harcourt city and Ikwerre of Rivers State have barricaded the ever busy Aba/Port Harcourt road, thereby causing serious traffic grid lock in major streets of Port Harcourt, in the morning of January 21, 2014, Tuesday.
The protesters comprising youths, young and elderly men and women barricaded the popular G.R.A. junction of Port Harcourt, a development that made motorists to spend more than two hours on a grid lock which spanned up to the Isaac Boro park.
The protesters were carrying placards which bore inscriptions such as"We will not stand by impunity, leave Mbu alone", "International Airport will be shut down if Mbu leaves Rivers State", "I.G. thanks for giving us Mbu", "South South man cannot betray his brother, we love Jonathan", "Jonathan will come in 2015″.
These crowds were guarded by the team of anti riot policemen led by a chief Superintendent of police, David Osuani.
The protesters who took over the entire stretch of Aba/Port Harcourt road up to NDDC secretariat sang solidarity songs in praise of President Goodluck Jonathan, the supervising Minster of Education, Nyesom Wike and Rivers State commissioner of police, Joseph Mbu.
The Chairman of Ikwerre people's Assembly and the spokesman of the protesters Barrister Chima Bombs said the people of Ikwerre ethnic Nationality decided togo on a street protest to condemn the continuing attackon the office and person of President Goodluck Jonathan, the Minster of Education and the State commissioner of policeby those he described as disgruntled and frustrated politicians.
"Rivers people and indeed Nigerians would recall that prior to the assumption of the commissioner of police, Joseph Mbu, in Rivers State, indiscriminate arrest and illegal detention, harassment and intimidation, revocation of C of Os, compulsory acquisition without compensation and demolition of properties without notice to persons who held and expressed contrary views to that of Amaechi led administration was the order of the day".
"The resumption of CP Mbu as commissioner of police , Rivers State effectively put to an end the reign of impunity , lawlessness , harassment and the abuse of the fundamental rights of the citizens by Gov Amaechi. CP Mbu since assumption of office has demonstrated and exhibited an uncanny zeal , dexterity and enthusiasm in the art of policing the State , hence the peaceful and serene atmosphere pervasive today in the State which ironically and indeed inexplicably does not go down well with the Governor,"he said.
Bar. Chima Bombs condemned what he called "the theatrics and antics of Senator Magnus Abe and his gang of brigandage", which he said was orchestrated to achieve "his inordinate ambition to emerge as Governorship candidate for the APC".
He threatened that the people of Ikwerri ethnic Nationality will resist any attempt to redeploy the commissioner of police adding that"any redeployment of CP Mbu at this time will be asking for the total shut down of all entry points to Rivers State including the international airport which the Ikwerre people play host to and all the oil wells, flow stations and facilities operations in our land"

Manchester United Deny Mata Bid.

Manchester United have denied making a bid for Chelsea attacking midfielder Juan Mata.
Reports on Tuesday morning suggest that the Red Devils are preparing a £37 million bid for the out-of-favour Spain international, who is said to have grown increasingly dissatisfied with life at Stamford Bridge.

Shocking photos have emerged of a cannibal by the name of Mad Dog in the Central African Republic who was caught on camera eating the flesh of a lynched Muslim man.
According to DailyMail, 'Mad Dog' - real name Ouandja Magloire - is a cannibal who had sworn to get his revenge on Muslims after his pregnant wife, his sister-in-law and her baby were murdered. Mad Dog claims Muslims were responsible for the murders and he was angry with them.
'They broke down the door and cut my baby in half. I promised I would get my revenge,' he said.The shocking pictures which you will see after the cut show Mad Dog as he cuts a portion of meat from the body of a murdered Muslim lying burning on a roundabout in the capital of the Central African Republic, with the body of another a few yards away.

The agency understands that Magloire didn't take part in the killings, but turned up in the aftermath.
Earlier in the month horrific footage emerged from Bangui of Mad Dog eating the leg of a Muslim who, according to the BBC, was hauled from a bus, battered and then stabbed before being set on fire.
In the aftermath of the incident, Mad Dog grabbed hold of his leg and then began to devour it.
Mad Dog' had spotted his victim on a minibus and followed him after deciding he looked Muslim. He gathered a crowd of about 20 Christian youths who forced the bus driver to stop and dragged him from the bus.
Without emotion he told the BBC:
'I poured petrol over him. I burned him. I ate his leg, right down the white bone.'
Witnesses did not intervene but recorded the footage on mobile phones, including the act of cannibalism.A video showed his cheeks bulging as he consumes the flesh.
Witness Jean-Sylvestre Tchya told news agency AFP:
'One of the individuals took hold of an arm and went and bought some bread and starting chewing on the flesh, along with his bread. The scene made many people vomit, and some cried out in horror.'

Woman Kills Her Two Children All In The Name Of Casting Out Demons From Them

A Maryland mother, last week, stabbed two of her children to death and wounded two others while attempting an exorcism.
The two dead children — a boy, Norell Harris, 1, and a girl, Zyana Harris, 2 — were found Friday morning on their mother's bed in their home. Both had been stabbed repeatedly.

With Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie both still injured, United fielded Adnan Januzaj in support of Danny Welbeck, but they quickly found a route through the Chelsea defence on a brisk afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

Ejigbo Pepper Women Assault Update: Perpetrators Arrested At Oba Moruf's Palace In Lagos

According to Sahara reporters, the men who savagely assaulted three women in Ejigbo for stealing pepper have been arrested!
And their arrest happened at the palace of Oba Moruf Adisa Ojoola of Ejigbo earlier on today!
The arrest was made possible due to immense pressure on Oba Moruf himself, he reportedly got all the men assembled at his palace around 11pm Saturday night. The gathering of the gang by Oba Moruf followed a
closure of the market yesterday, which prevented the market men and women from carrying out their trading activities until the perpetrators were identified and brought to book.
The gang's torture and sodomizing of one of the ladies by thrusting a bottle of ground pepper and sticks in her genital had resulted in her death, two months after. She was later identified as "Juliana" by her father, a palm wine tapper, who revealed that he also lost a toddler in the incidence as his wife, mother of the baby while being tortured by the gang was not allowed to attend to the baby.
In addition to torture, the gang also destroyed the palm wine tapper's house and banished him from the community, after he was made to pay N50,000 as fine to secure the release of his wife and two daughters.
On Thursday, last week, Oba Moruf was invited by the Lagos Assembly Committee regarding the investigation into the crime. A source familiar with the meeting of the Oba with the committee told our correspondent that the Oba's demeanor at the meeting was cooperative, and he did not spend much time. The previous day, Wednesday, the Iyaloja (Ejigbo Market women leader) also visited the committee on invitation. She was accompanied by her husband, who pledged support toward the investigation.
The Babaloja, who allegedly received a fine from the palm wine tapper and also supervised his banishment, did not honor an invitation by the committee. He gave the excuse that he had injury on his leg. But sources in the market said the Babaloja may have had the injury when he scaled a fence to escape arrest by a police team that visited the market for investigation last week.
At a public hearing upon constitution of the Lagos Assembly committee, the police, the local government chairman, market women and other members of the Ejigbo community had denied knowledge of the crime, even as sources from the community insisted the crime happened in the public glare.
As efforts progressed into finding the perpetrators, the police, through its DPO in Ejigbo, CSP Oliver Abbey had clearly shown complicity and laxity by claiming it doubted the event happened at all, evidently by doing nothing about it. CSP Abbey was later deployed out of the area after his compromised position became clear to his superiors.
It is expected that the arrested gang would be tried for the crime of murder, and the illegal sum collected from Mr. Freeman, the palm wine tapper to secure his wife and daughters recovered.
Mr. Freeman's family is also expected to be rehabilitated.
