So on that fateful day, the wife was supposed to go for a counseling with her best friend that was supposed to assist her. Then in after the afternoon when they were supposed to leave, she started calling on her friend (Amanda) but she didn't pick-up so she decided to go alone. On leaving the house, she got a very tragic call from another of her friend (jennifer) that she just saw her husband with Amanda now heading to a paradise hotel, but Juliet couldn't believe her that she had to drive to the hotel coz she wanted to catch them red-handed.

On getting there, her friend the informant, was already at the reception waiting for her. So they quickly bribed the receptionist for the Room number, and on getting there she then knocked and pretended to be one of the hotel waiters, and behold!!!! Her own trusted bestfriend opened the door, her husband was just lying on the bed.

Chai! She couldn't believe her eyes that she started pounding on her cheating bestfriend while the husband quickly wore his clothes then sneaked out of the hotel
But so unfortunate for her so-called bestfriend, she received the worse beating of her life while Jennifer(the informant) was busy taking pictures of everything, then later posted it online because they needed to expose them so that other people would learn from it.

Gov Fayemi’s Concession of Defeat Is A Big Propaganda...Fayose

It no more news that AYO FAYOSE won the governorship election of ekiti state..The Ekiti State governor-elect, Ayo Fayose, disclosed in Abuja on Thursday that the concession of defeat by the incumbent governor Kayode Fayemi was a big propaganda stunt aimed at eliciting public sympathy.

Hear what Fayose said: “The governor said I am conceding to defeat. Let me be realistic with you, there is a difference between propaganda and reality. I have been calling the governor since after our meeting but he hasn’t picked the call. 

“If you read all papers now, he said I will create local governments before I go; how do you reconcile these things? I am not a propagandist, I am a realist. The governor says he will do employment before he leaves. That means you want to create problem for the incoming government.

“So I see that concession, as good as it may be, we must all be realistic about it, we must not deceive the Nigerian populace...

Fayose told the News Agency of Nigeria that Fayemi is trying to set traps of failure for him before leaving the office of Governor in October. 

Fayose recalled that in 2003, his predecessor, Niyi Adebayo, conceded defeat too but went ahead to conduct a mass recruitment when he had only six months remaining in his tenure.

“Their party said we are still studying the ink used by INEC; it is the governor that conceded not our party. I respect the governor; he is our leader, up until the 15th of October, he remains our leader but I want to appeal to APC not to play propaganda with sensitive issues like this.

“If the governor says I am not going, his party too must make pronouncements otherwise I do not mind them going to court. The court will ask you: “it is usually the incumbent that rigs, why would somebody who is not an incumbent now rig and defeat you in your ward”?

He said though he would run an inclusive government, but he would only work with those who were willing to work with him.

“With due respect, I know APC more than you, I will not shoot myself in the leg before I start so I will rather let us leave it as it is. It is our government but we will make sure they have their say; minority will have their say, majority will have their way.”

Man who believs there is no GOD detained in mental institute in Kano

Mubarak Bala has been held up at a mental institute in Kano state since June 13th despite being given a clean bill of health because he declared he does not believe in God. 

According to the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) Bala is being held against his will and forcibly medicated at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where he has been kept since June 13.

The chemical engineering graduate is allegedly being held on the grounds of a “personality change” because he declared himself an atheist despite being raised in a Muslim family in Kano, which is a mainly Muslim state.

The organisation says that when Mr Bala told his family he did not believe in God, they took him to a doctor and asked if he was mentally ill. Continue...

When this doctor found him to be fit and well, the family are then believed to have taken him to a second doctor who claimed he was suffering with a personality disorder. The family allegedly told this doctor he also made delusional claims that he was a “governor” and other "trivial lies".
The 29-year-old managed to raise the alarm that he was being held in emails and tweets sent to activists from a smartphone smuggled into the facility and the IHEU said a Lagos-based group has asked a lawyer to take up his case.

In one of the emails, he wrote: “And the biggest evidence of my mental illness was large blasphemies and denial of ‘history’ of Adam, and apostasy, to which the doctor said was a personality change, that everyone needs a God, that even in Japan they have a God.  And my brother added that all the atheists I see have had mental illness at some point in their life.”

The IHEU is "deeply concerned" about Mr Bala's welfare and violations of his human rights.

IHEU spokesman Bob Churchill said: “It appears that a warped notion of family honour is the motivation to pressure Mubarak in this appalling manner, to conform to religious views that he simply doesn’t hold. This is an abhorrent violation of his freedom of thought and belief.
“We are joining with humanists and human rights advocates in Nigeria and the activists who have worked to highlight this case, in calling for an immediate re-evaluation of Mubarak’s case by a doctor who is entirely independent of the family, and for his swift release.”

How Naija Woman Stopped A Guy From Rapping Her In Lagos

The police in Lagos have arrested a teenage male who allegedly broke
into a woman's house and attempted to rapé her. 19-year-old Abdulazeez
Adam is said to have stolen some valuables from the married identified
as Mrs. Nkechi Onuoha in the Ejigbo area of the state.
After collecting valuables from the woman, Adam then decided to rapé
her but the woman told him that she is under a curse placed on her by
her husband who took her to a shrine where the curse was placed on her
that any man who slept with her would die.
Angered by the revelation, the guy was said to have brought out a
knife and slit her neck because he can't have her, leaving her for
dead...
The police, however, arrived at the scene of the incident on time and
took the victim to a hospital for treatment. It was learnt that Adam
made away with 3 ATM cards, Nokia Lumia, Samsung Note and Samsung
Galaxy Tab phones all valued N145,000, a wrist watch and cash sum of
N174,000.
In a statement made available to the court, Onuoha said, "In the early
hours of that day, around 2am, I heard a sound on my locked sitting
room door. I woke up and saw him. He said I should cooperate with him
that he had little time to spend in my flat.
"He then brought out a pack of condom and said the first thing he
wanted to do was to have séx with me. I told him that I was in my
monthly period and that my husband took me to a priest, and that if I
have séx with any man, that I and the man will die instantly.
"He then said I should write a cheque for him. I said I did not have
any cheque book. I told him I use my ATM card to withdraw money. He
asked me to give him my ATM cards from UBA, GTB, and First Bank. He
also collected my phones and money."
She explained that the suspect asked her at several intervals if she
knew him, which she denied.
She said after he was done, he asked her: "Do you know that all the
things I collected are earthly things? Then he said he was sorry he
had to do his job, then he descended on me, cut my left leg,
overpowered me and cut my neck."
Adam was later arrested by the police who arraigned him before an
Ebute Meta Magistrate Court on 3 counts of robbery and attempted
murder.
The remand form attached to the charge sheet, however, indicated that
the suspect, who was arrested in Osogbo, Osun State, did not confess
to the crime and was not found in custody of any offensive weapons.
The police, in the form, said they would be relying on accounts of
either an eyewitness or the victim, adding that there was no need for
further investigation.
The Chief Magistrate, Tunbosun Abolarinwa, ordered that Adam should be
remanded in custody. The matter was adjourned till July 25, 2014

Tuface is suing Soft-Sell Magazine ICON Weekly, For N100million

popular nigeria musician Tuface is suing ICON Weekly magazine for
libel over the story they publish alleging that he impregnated a
female banker in Lagos, just few months after his elaborate marriage
in Dubai.
Sources at the Ikeja High Court just said the Media/Entertainment Law
Firm of L&A – Legal Consultants has filed libel proceedings on behalf
of Innocent "Tuface" Idibia against the soft sell magazine, Icon
weekly, praying the Court to award their client the sum of N100,000.00
(One Hundred Million Naira ) being damages for the libelous
publication posted on the magazine's online and print platforms.
You will recall that sometime in March 2014, a story went viral;
alleging that Tuface committed adultery and impregnated yet another
woman, this time his account officer in one of the new generation
banks and that infact, the lady had every intention to keep the
baby...
Apparently, the story turned out to be completely false and only
concocted by Icon weekly to drive traffic to themselves/boost sales.
(A cheap publicity stunt which may end up costing the magazine dearly)
We tried to contact L&A – Legal Consultants and 960 Media to shed more
light on the matter but they declined commenting.
However a source close to both organizations stated that "it is unfair
for anyone to tarnish someone else's image in order to make profit"
the source said further that " a lot of these soft sell magazines and
blogs must learn to verify stories before publishing as they may be
very damaging to the innocent victim".
The false story was said to have made Tuface loose a very lucrative
deal and caused ripples between him and his wife. As at Friday we
understand that ICON weekly had approached Tuface's team for
discussions on a possible out of court settlement

Tambuwal Detained & Searched By Soldiers On Orders From Above

Soldiers has detained the Speaker of the House of Representatives,
Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, briefly on Sunday in the capital of Kaduna
State, insisting that his official car "must be searched" before he
could be allowed into the venue of an international conference where
he was due to deliver a speech.
Can you believe that Soldiers paid by Nigerians can humiliate the

The Speaker, who arrived the venue of the gathering at exactly 9.16 am
for the 10.00 am opening ceremony, had his convoy stopped by soldiers
who insisted they must search his official car before he could be
allowed into the venue, otherwise he should go away. Wonderful!
Despite much entreaties by security details attached to the
Speaker,the soldiers refused, claiming they have "orders from above"
to search the Speaker...
Angered by the conduct of the soldiers, the Speaker came out of his
car and trekked all the way into the venue. The incident occurred at
Hotel 17, venue of an International conference on security and
development challenges of pastoralism in West and Central Africa
organized by office of the National Security Adviser.
Surprisingly, other VIPs, especially Governors, who attended the
conference were allowed access into the hotel without hindrance. The
Speaker is the number four citizen in Nigeria's official hierarchy
after the President, Vice-President and the Senate President. It is
sad that he could be treated like a rascal.
When Saraha Reporters contacted Tambuwal's spokesman, Malam Imam Imam,
for his reaction, he said:
"It is not about the person of the Speaker, but the office he is
occupying. What we expect is for the security agents to show respect
for the office of the Number 4 citizen of the country."
Strangely, after the Speaker walked away, the soldiers stopped

Photos- Mother Stabs Herself to Death after Watching her Son Die During the Lungu Abuja Demolition

Entrance into Abuja yesterday was shut down and pandemonium took over on the popular Kubwa-Zuba expressway after a woman and her son tragically lost their lives during the demolition of Aluguyi Village, popularly known as Lungu Village in the FCT.
According to angry natives, some Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) officials, in the company of well armed military personnel, had stormed their community at about 10am and started demolishing houses along with their belongings, not minding if people were inside or not. A demolition they said was unannounced and totally inhumane.
An eyewitness, Mr. Joshua Iyah, told reporters:
"During the demolition, a primary school boy came home from school tired and hungry, not understanding what was going on, he entered their house to change from his school uniform and as he was still inside the house, that was when the bulldozer demolishing
their house and blocks fell on the boy.
Attempts to rescue the boy were not successful because the military and policemen were using whips against us. They even prevented his mother from rescuing him. The boy died immediately. When the mother of the boy saw what happened to her child, she took a broken bottle and stabbed herself to death."The woman's death sparked an outrage and the angry natives started a protest, at about 12 noon. They barricaded the expressway with burning tyres and bricks. JethroIliya, another eye witness said that they initially started the protest inside Gwarinpa estate, but when there was no response from the FCT minister, Sen. Bala Mohammed or relevant authorities, they decided to move to Kubwa-Zuba expressway to express their grievances. He said:
"To make matters worse the policemen shot two people, when we were protesting over the two people shot, the military men started shooting again in the air. As I speak to you, two people are dead and two are currently in the hospital.
What wrong have we done as natives of Abuja to have given our land to the federal government? We have given enough! They have collected our farmlands, we were quiet, now they are coming to chase us out of our houses. We have so many graduates everywhere, but no job, yet they will say we are not educated.
Enough is enough, we have been pushed to the wall. This is just the beginning, we cannot take this anymore! Was it a crime for us to have given our land to Nigeria? This is too much, we are not animals. They should do the right thing in Abuja, before it is too late," he said.

President Jonathan Appoints Mrs. Roli Bode-George As New Director-General Of NDLEA

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Mrs. Roli Bode-George as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Mrs Bode-George takes over from Mr Olufemi Ajayi, who is now the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). The appointment is with immediate effect.

Alhaji Arisekola Alao Is Dead

Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao is a notable Nigerian businessman and contractor who was the publisher of the now defunct Monitor Newspaper. He is considered a wealthy businessman who is known for his causes in support of Islam in Ibadan and his close ties to many of the city’s traditional and religious elites and to various other Yoruba Muslim leaders. He bears the title of Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland.

Arisekola saw his fortunes rise during the regimes of Ibrahim Babangida and Sani Abacha while his style is sometimes criticized as favoring any regime that can butter his nest. He was both a friend of MKO Abiola and Sani Abacha but was actively involved in supporting the latter to elongate his tenure through a transition from military to democratic leadership.

Born in 1945 to Abdul Raheem Alao and Olatutu Alao, he attended St Luke’s Primary School, Adigun and ICC Primary school, he also studied Arabic Studies. In 1960, he was with the Ogunpa-Oyo Commercial Center before venturing into full time business a year later. His traditional commercial focus is in auto sales, flour mills and oil marketing through his Lister brand, he has also developed interest in real estate, insurance, banking and publishing.

Originally, he came from humble means, joining his uncle as an apprentice in Gbagi market of Ibadan in 1960. He left in 1961 to sell gammalin 20 vide and later became an agent of Imperial Chemical Industries. 

By the 1970s, he was a dealer of Datsun brand of motors under Lister Motors.

In the 1970s and 80s: Arisekola was serenaded by the Juju singer Ebenezer Obey around the late 1970s while later being conferred with the title of Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland by the league of Imams and Alfas from the region in 1980. Though, along with his friend, Abiola, he courted controversy and raised already existent inter-religious tension when he raised issues about the location an iconic cross to depict places of worship at the University of Ibadan. The cross which was erected in the 1950s when only a church was a place of worship at the institution but Muslim worshipers claimed that the cross was located on the Eastern side of the mosque and was a violation of Islamic requirements not to see an idol, cross or effigy during worship. In 1990, he was co-chair of a committee interested in promoting cross fertilization of ideas and inter-religious understanding between Christians and Muslims.

During the democratic period of the Sani Abacha era, Arisekola, along with Lamidi Adedibu pitched his tent with the Democratic Party of Nigeria also known as DPN. However, his closeness with the Abacha administration has erred him detractors within Yorubaland. His Monitor Press outfit was burnt in May 1998 during the aftermath of the campaign for the prolongation of the Abacha government and right after the death of Abacha, a visit to University of Ibadan caused a minor riot when students shouted down at him and proceeded to burn his limousine as a result of anger fueled at him due to his relationship with the corrupt Abacha administration.

Arisekola doubles as the president-general of the Grand Council for Islamic Affairs and member of the Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, NSCIA.

In Ibadan Arisekola has contributed to many Islamic causes including the construction of mosques and alms giving to many residents who troop to his home. He is a patron to many Yoruba Muslim groups including the youth wing of the National Council of Musim Youth Organizations of Nigeria (NACOMYO) and some Yoruba Muslim womens group.

The Nation reports that Mrs Irurhe, who has been married for 31 years, started the IVF treatment in 2010 and said her faith in God and her believe in modern medicine helped her go through the process, after many years of childlessness in marriage. She said her husband, Mr Adekunle Irurhe's Catholic belief of one man one wife made him not to marry another woman and stood by her through all the years.

"I believe we should not limit God and what the doctors can do in this modern age. I believe this is the appointed time. I was very hopeful throughout the years I was childless and I remained focused on God. We went to many hospitals but we didn’t give up,” she said

 

An elated Mr Adekunle Irurhe said though there were pressures to get another wife, he was determined to stay with his wife alone as that was the practice of his own parents. He said his wife's belief in the In vitro fertilization method made him support her.

"I supported her throughout because my wife was dogged and she believed in herself. When I saw her faith, I had no choice but to go with her. She kept telling me she would have her child. I wasn’t thinking of another wife. I came from a monogamous family and I decided she is all I will have. The family was understanding too and we fought together to get this baby".

Mrs Irurhe has made history as the oldest woman in Africa to give birth to a child via Invitro Fertilization.
