2. DO NOT BE UNDISCIPLINED IN THE MANAGEMENT OF YOUR MONEY

You should not let the loss to discharge, or paralyze yourself. Do not take undue and impulsive decisions. There is no Law of averages in betting. It’s not a law. It’s the fallacy of a gambler.

Council of State meeting ends, says election will not be postponed

The Council of State meeting has officially ended with members resolving not to postpone the 2015  general election scheduled for Feb. 14th.

Briefing newsmen after the meeting, Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, said;

“It was one of an unusual Council of State meeting that took over 7 hours deliberating on a very sensitive issue as to whether INEC is prepared for the elections or not and whether there is need for the change of dates of these elections. INEC has said they are very ready to conduct these elections and the security agencies have shown concerns about certain local governments where they have security challenges. But INEC has the power to conduct elections including fixing dates of elections.
The Council rose that INEC should then inform the nation as to their preparedness and proceed to conduct the elections. The Council has asked INEC to perform its civic responsibility which is to conduct election. That is what we rose to agree. It was a very challenging moment and INEC has reaffirmed severally that they are ready. But because of the concerns of the security agencies in few local governments, Council asked INEC to go and perform its civic responsibility. There is no decision as to change of dates or postponement at all…. Jega has reassured us that they are equal to the task. In fact, they are more prepared than they were in 2011.” he said

 These cannot be true,Some Abuja residents this morning stormed the Unity Fountain to protest the alleged plans by the Government to stop INEC from conducting the forthcoming 2015 general elections by asking the body to postpone it.

The protest which was organized by the civic group, National Consensus Movement and commenced from the Unity Fountain, saw protesters marching in the directions of Eagle Square, a premium event centre in the state, but as they filed past the Federal Secretariat, the protesters were blocked by officers of the Nigeria police, who asked them to go back. Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyin Pius Anyim; National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki, Governors Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Babatunde Fashola (Lagos), Rochas Okorocha (Imo), Aliyu Wamako (Sokoto), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Abdulfatahi Ahmed (Kwara), Tanko Almakura (Nasarawa), Adams Oshiomhole (Edo), Rauf Aregbesola (Osun), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara) and the deputy governors of Borno and Yobe States.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is the only living Nigerian leader not present at the meeting.

Earlier today, Gov Amaechi who is the DG of the APC Presidential campaign had taken to his twitter handle to state that he would be opposing any motion to postpone the elections.

Woman stabs husband to death in Bayelsa

According to their friends, Henry Gagariga was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife Victoria Ambakaderimo (both pictured) around 11pm last night February 4th after a quarrel at their home in Akenfa, Bayelsa state. Victoria allegedly stabbed him in the throat.

Their friends say it's not the first time she'd stab him but this time, he lost his life. She is currently being held at Akenfa police station in Bayelsa state over his murder. Real-life villain: Henry Damon, 37, from Caracas, Venezuela, has had his nose removed as part of his facial transformation into a real-life version of Marvel villain Red Skull

At first glance one would think that the picture above is the result of a brilliant makeup artist from a horror movie set. But in reality however, Henry Damon, is a real man, who chose to undergo unbelievable, extreme body modification, after he was inspired by a comic book villain.

The Venezuelan man is currently making headlines around the world for taking body modification to the extreme in a bid to make himself look like comic book super villain Red Skull.
The 37 year old has had already had several subdermal implants on his forehead before having part of his nose removed in order to achieve the right Marvel madman look.

Despite the drastic surgery, Mr Damon, from Caracas, Venezuela, is getting ready to take it even further to fulfill his dream.

The Marvel villain Red Skull first appeared in 1947 as the Nazi agent arch-enemy of Marvel hero Captain America and most recently appeared in the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger, played by Hugo Weaving.

Pastor Adeboye Reacts To Alleged N6b Bribe Given To Pastors By The PDP

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has reacted to the allegations that pastors are collecting bribes from politicians and warned that they  risk the wrath of God.

cleric said this on his official Facebook page on Wednesday while reacting to allegations by the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that the Peoples Democratic Party had bribed some pastors with N6bn to work against the All Progressives Congress and its presidential candidate, Maj. Reacting to the allegations Pastor Adeboye, said:

“I read in the newspaper this morning that one of the serving governors in Nigeria said that some pastors in Nigeria collected N6bn from politicians for the purpose of influencing their members to vote a certain candidate in the coming elections.
“May I humbly request that if there be any pastor or pastors who collected such money, they should please return such as quickly as possible before the fire of the Almighty consumes you.”

Five Labourers Aged 36-40 Raped 14-Year Old Girl In Nasarawa...

These is just  too cruel,the officers of the Nasarawa State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps on Wednesday paraded five suspects for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.

The state Commandant of NSCDC, Mr Andekin Musa, said the suspects, including a father of three, were labourers working at a construction site in Doma Local Government market.

Musa disclosed that the girl they raped hawks sachet water otherwise called ‘Pure Water’ in the same area.

He said four of the suspects had on Jan. 30, lured the girl into an uncompleted building beside the Doma market and took turns to rape her.

“The suspects raped her in an uncompleted building near the market. They lured her into the building saying they would buy her water but instead raped her,” Andekin said.

The commandant explained that the four suspects after their arrest implicated the fifth suspect who also confessed to raping the girl.

Musa said that officers of the command in Doma on a tip-off on Feb. 1 arrested two of the suspects near Tudun Laraba community in Doma.

He said the other three suspects were later arrested on the same day from the Doma market.

“The rape took place on Jan. 30, while their arrest was on Feb. 1. They are all around and they have all confessed to committing the offence.” he said.

Musa said the suspects, Wada Mohammed (37), Tanko Adamu (36), Abubakar Ogachi (40), Yusuf Ogar (35) and Samaila Ali (35) would be prosecuted after investigation had been concluded.

“From our investigation, the suspects have been in the habit of raping underage girls and we have been receiving reports of similar cases in that area,” he said.

One of the suspects, Samaila, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the devil pushed him to commit the crime as it was not in his habit to rape women.

“I have a wife and three children and I have never done this kind of thing before. It is the devil that pushed me to do it,” he said.

The father of the girl, Malam Umar Mohammed, thanked the NSCDC for promptly arresting the suspects and expressed optimism that justice would be done.

Jordanian Government have kept to their words by executing two ISIS prisoners  in their possession after Islamic State militants set a Jordanian fighter pilot ablaze in a shocking video released yesterday. He was locked up in a cage and was set ablaze.

Government officials this morning revealed that two prisoners, Sajida al-Rishawi and Ziad al-Karbouli working for ISIS had been executed. It was in revenge of the burnt pilot, they said.
