Lindsay Capri Bien-Aime, 21, unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade on agents and attendants in front of her toddler son after they tried to escort her off the plane at Fort Lauderdale airport, WCNC reported. A passenger a few rows in front of Bien-Aime recorded the incident on her cellphone. Video posted to YouTube and LiveLeak shows the agents warning Bien-Aime she’ll go to jail unless she gets off the plane, but Bien-Aime refuses. Lindsay Capri Bien-Aime was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer. Eventually, the officers get physical and handcuff her. One local station reported that she bit one of the deputies. Nigeria yet to Recover $175MILLION In a Foreign account

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke (SAN), yesterday, said Nigeria was yet to receive about €175 million starched in a foreign account by late military dictator, General Sani Abacha. Adoke, who spoke at the 2013 ministerial press briefing held in Abuja, yesterday, to highlight the mid-term achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration as it pertains to the Ministry of Justice, said Federal Government had intensified its efforts to trace and repatriate Nigeria’s stolen assets abroad. He said: “In this connection, we have maintained effective liaison and communication with targeted jurisdictions to keep pace with asset recovery proceedings in those jurisdictions. Recovered monies “In 2011, our close liaison and negotiation with the Island of Jersey led to the recovery and repatriation of £22.5 million confiscated by the Royal Court of Jersey from Raj Arjandes Bhojwani, an Indian national and associate of General Sani Abacha, on account of his money laundering transactions from Nigeria. We continued the liaison and negotiations with the Principality of Liechtenstein, which recently confiscated EUR 175 million from the Abacha family and associated companies in Liechtenstein following a confiscation order by the Supreme Court of Liechtenstein. “However, the companies involved have lodged an appeal against the decision before the European Court of Justice in Strasburg. “As soon as the appeal is concluded, firm arrangements consistent with the asset recovery provisions of the United Nations Convention against corruption, would be made to repatriate the forfeited sums to Nigeria.” Meantime, Adoke disclosed that the Ministry of Justice, within the year under review, received 60 petitions bordering on breach of rights of citizens, lack of action on criminal matters by the law enforcement agencies. Why FG can’t pardon Al-Mustapha He also gave reasons why Federal Government cannot pardon the former Chief Security Officer to late General Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha. It will be recalled that a Lagos High Court had sentenced Al-Mustapha, who is currently in prison custody, to death by hanging after he was found guilty in the murder of Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, wife of late business mogul and presumed winner of the June 12 presidential election, Bashorun M.K.O Abiola. Adoke, who noted that Al-Mustapha was tried and convicted under the Lagos State law, insisted that Federal Government lacked the powers to delve into the case as such action would tantamount to subjudice. He said: “The case has gone to the Court of Appeal. It is not within the authority of the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation, as it stands today. Even commenting on it will amount to subjudice. Justice is taking its course.” While acknowledging that Nigeria is presently a part of the global debate on death sentence, Adoke said there was nothing the government could do to stop the execution of those currently on the waiting list of the hangman. He said most of the offences that attract death penalty fall under laws within the jurisdiction of states. He maintained that in view of the fact that Nigeria is a country under the principle of federalism, there is nothing the Federal Government can do, pending the review of some of the extant laws, adding, “we hope the laws will be reviewed.” On Bakassi Besides, the AGF further explained reason why the Federal Government refused to appeal the International Court of Justice, ICJ, judgment that had in 2001 ceded the oil-rich Bakassi Peninsula in Cross Rivers State to the Republic of Cameroon. He said the government was unable to lay its hands to fresh and credible facts to warrant an appeal of the controversial verdict. He said: “There was no fresh fact which Nigeria could have relied upon to apply for a review of that judgment. Moreover, such action would have created animosity between Nigeria and Cameroon.”

Supreme Court legalized same marriag in California

public controversies touch an institution so central to the lives of so many, and few inspire such attendant passion by good people on both sides. Few public controversies will ever demonstrate so vividly the beauty of what our Framers gave us, a gift the Court pawns today to buy its stolen moment in the spotlight: a system of government that permits us to rule ourselves. Some will rejoice in today's decision, and some will despair at it; that is the nature of a controversy that matters to much to so many. But the Court has cheated both sides, robbing the winners of an honest victory, and the losers of the peace that comes from a fair defeat. We owed both of them better. I dissent. Justice Kennedy on the Proposition 8 case: What the Court fails to grasp or accept is the basic premise of the initiative process. And it is this. The essence of democracy is that the right to make law rests in the people and flows to the government, not the other way around. Freedom resides first in the people without need of a grant from government. The California initiative process embodies these principles and has done so for over a century... In California and the 26 other States that permit initiatives and popular referendums, the people have exercised their own inherent sovereign right to govern themselves. The Court today frustrates that choice. [Updated at 11:35 a.m. ET] Kris Perry, one of the key figures in the Proposition 8 case, said it was a victory not just for couples wanting to wed but also children. "No matter where you live, no matter who your parents are, no matter what kind of family you're in, you are equal, you are as good as your friends' parents and your friends." She added: "We can go back to California and say to our own children - all four of our boys - your family is just as good as everybody else's family."

Student Arrested For $48,000 Cyber scam

A 22-year-old student of Imo State University, Chibuzor Akobundu, has been arrested by operatives of Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi, for allegedly swindling foreign women to the tune of $48,000 through a dating website. Speaking with journalists yesterday, while being paraded alongside two staff of a second generation bank, who allegedly facilitated the withdrawal of money via Western Union Money Transfer, the suspect in his final year in school said he adopted Devon Miles as his name and posted a photograph of an unknown American citizen as his profile on the dating site. He confessed to have swindled five American single women within the ages of 40 and 50, in search for husbands. He gave the name of his first victim as Antoinette. He promised to marry her and was able to dupe her of $16,000 before she suspected he was a fraudster. Others were Jettie Simpson, who reportedly sent $5,000; Shelly Bashir, $100; Billie Klock, $13,000, in a relationship that reportedly lasted for five months, and Andrea Desena, $8,000. “I started browsing the dating site three years ago, posing as a US citizen residing in Nigeria. “At that time, it was a common game around my area in Ikeja. Along the line I met these ladies who were looking for husbands. “They fell in love with me because of my profile, where I stated that I was a 49-year-old divorcee in search of a wife. I claimed to be an engineer. “I would tell them I was stranded in Nigeria and needed some money to travel back to US and they would send the money via Western Union. “At other times, I would tell them that my daughter was sick and that I needed money to offset her hospital bill and they would fall for the trick. I have never used charm to hypnotise any of them. “My parents were never aware of what I was into because anytime I got a reasonable amount, I would travel to South Africa and squander the money. “My regret is that I never used the money for anything tangible, to avoid suspicion. My mum is a teacher, while my father is a businessman and have been responsible for the payment of my school fees.” Spokesperson for SFU, Ngozi Insitume-Agu, while explaining how Akobundu was arrested, said: “The arrest followed a petition via the Unit’s website from one Amelia Brosick, a US citizen, dated April 16, 2013, where she alleged that one Devon Miles, suspected to be a Nigerian, defrauded her to the tune of $16,439 using different tactics. “She added that she met the suspect on a dating site in June 2012, and the suspect, under the guise of dating her for the purpose of marriage, obtained the alleged sum fraudulently through Western Union. “Armed with the petition, Western Union was contacted and they sent a detailed spread sheet showing all the transfers in the name of the suspect. “Following the information, the duo of Nnamdi Nwakwue Dike and Olawale Oguniran attached to Western Union in Skye Bank, Owerri and Allen Avenue, Ikeja, branches, respectively, were arrested. “Their revealing statements led to the arrest of the serial internet fraudster, Chibuzor Akobundun also known as Devon Miles, Martin Williams and Sani Bala Ismaila. He adopted Devon as the internet name, but opened the account in the name of Martin Williams. “He confessed that he provided the bank staff with the photocopy of his identity card so that they could withdraw the monies, while he gave them some percentage. “The bank staff also confessed that they used Uche’s particulars to withdraw money from other persons’ accounts without his knowledge.” However, Dike of the Owerri branch denied knowledge of what Akobundun was into. He maintained that he was only doing his job as a front-line teller staff of the bank, adding that he had never at any time paid Akobundu above the stipulated amount. “Anytime he came to collect the money, he would answer the question given correctly, including the secret code. “Mine is to ascertain whether the details corresponded with what was in the system at the end of which I would hand his money over to him,” Dike said. Asked if he received any gratification from Akobundu, he said he was given tips of N1,000 or N2,000 at times, just like some other bank customers do.

Health Important of having sex

The story was told of a young man who was picked up dead in his car during a long traffic on the Third Mainland Bridge.Other road users didn’t know that he had breathed his last; they just kept hooting at him to move on. When he still refused to move, someone got down from his car to see what was going on. Everyone was shocked to realise that the young man — an employee of a bank — had died. A post-mortem revealed that he died of high blood pressure. Physicians say the actual cause of high blood pressure — also known as hypertension —is unknown. However, they say several factors predispose someone to having it, though many of them are totally preventable. Clinical Biochemist and Products Manager (Diagnostics), New Heights Pharma, Mr. Olayinka Ebenezer, explains that when the underlying cause of hypertension cannot be determined, it is medically referred to as “essential hypertension.” He, however, says essential hypertension has been linked to certain risk factors, such as family history, gender and advanced age. He warns that someone who comes from a family where they have many hypertensive people is likely to become hypertensive sometime in life. Physicians also warn that essential hypertension is greatly influenced by diet and lifestyle. “The link between salt and high blood pressure is especially compelling, as those who eat more salt than the recommended daily allowance are certainly likely to experience hypertension than those who don’t,” Nutrition Expert at the Mart-Life Detox Clinic, Lagos, Mrs. Idowu Ashiru, warns. Other things that can cause essential hypertension include smoking, being overweight or obese, lack of physical activity, insufficient intake of potassium, calcium, and magnesium, too much alcohol consumption (more than one to two drinks per day), stress, diabetes, pregnancy, birth control pills containing oestrogen, being over 35 years old, too much fatty foods, sleeplessness, genetics, chronic kidney disease and adrenal/thyroid disorders. Why hypertension is bad Many people know that high blood pressure is bad, but they don’t know how bad it can be before it leads to heart attack, heart failure, stroke, kidney disease, and, more often than not, death. A cardiologist, Dr. Phillip Tiwalade, warns that hypertension damages blood vessels and impairs their ability to work properly. He notes that most of the time, there are no symptoms. He says, “For most patients, high blood pressure is found when they visit hospital or have it checked elsewhere. Because there are no symptoms, people can develop heart disease and kidney problemswithout knowing they have high blood pressure.” The doctor stresses that if you have a severe headache, nausea or vomiting, bad headache, confusion, changes in your vision, or nosebleeds, you may have a severe and dangerous form of high blood pressure called malignant hypertension. “See your doctor without delay,” Tiwalade counsels. Worse still, researchers at Johns Hopkins University, USA, say men and women with hypertension are twice as likely to experience s*xual problems as individuals without high blood pressure. The reason: “Healthy blood vessels are essential to s*xual function, but high blood pressure damages blood vessels and impairs their ability to work properly. Hypertension leads to narrowing of the arteries because of plaque build-up. “A link between high blood pressure and s*xual problems is proved in men. Over time, high blood pressure damages the lining of blood vessels and causes arteries to harden and narrow (atherosclerosis), limiting blood flow. This means less blood is able to flow to the man-hood,” researchers say. Physicians say for some men, the decreased blood flow makes it difficult to achieve and maintain erections — often referred to as erectile dysfunction. High blood pressure can also interfere with ejaculation and reduce s*xual desire, doctors proffer. They also say, sometimes, the medications used to treat high blood pressure have similar effects “In women, hypertension can reduce blood flow to the v**ina. This may lead to a decrease in s*xual desire or arousal, vaginal dryness, or difficulty achieving climax,” the researchers warn. Those who have this problem are advised to see their doctor. s*x therapy For those who have normal blood pressure but are not involved in regular exercise routine, physicians prescribe “s*x therapy” as a form of exercise that can keep hypertension at bay. They are of the view that s*x is a form of exercise which, when engaged in regularly, have so many benefits for the body. Researchers from Scotland, who reported their findings in the journal Biological Psychology, submit that s*x relieves stress and lowers blood pressure. The scientists insist that frequent intercourse was associated with lower diastolic blood pressure (the bottom number of blood pressure) in people who live together and have s*x often. s*x also boosts immunity, scientists tell us. Researchers from the Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA, say having s*x once or twice a week has been linked with higher levels of an antibody called immunoglobulin A, which can protect you from getting colds and other infections. Physicians say to reduce your risk of hypertension, lose weight. This is a tall order for many people who may find it hard to hit the gym right away. Not to worry, though, you can also achieve your goal right on your bed or couch. President of the American Association of se*uality Educators and Therapists, Dr. Patti Britton, assures that by engaging in just 30 minutes of s*x, you can burn 85 calories or more. “s*x is a great mode of exercise. It takes work, from both a physical and psychological perspective, to do it well,” she notes. Again, a study published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, reveals that frequent s*x improves cardiovascularhealth. What this translates into, the scientists note, is that while having s*x, the heart rate goes from 70 beats per minute to 150 — a good training for the heart. A 20-year-long British study also shows that having s*x thrice a week decreases the risk of heart attack by 50 per cent. “This is because, during s*x, the breath is deeper, meaning a better oxygenation,” the researchers assure. Researchers say the heart health benefits of s*x don’t end there. They say having s*x twice or more a week reduces the risk of fatal heart attack by half for men, compared with those who have s*x less than once a month. Finally, since hypertension is also associated with sleep apnea, physicians recommend getting more quality sleep of up to seven or eight hours a day. s*x plays a huge role here, too, we are told. Scientists say the oxytocin released during climax promotes sleep. In addition, getting enough sleep has been linked with a host of other good things, such as maintaining a healthy weight and blood pressure. UkK SUN

PHOTO ...meet wizkid baby mama Oluwanishola Ogudugu

her names are Oluwanishola Ogudugu. She was a student of the Houdegbe North American University, Cotonou, Benin Republic. She was listed as one of the most popular girls on Campus by The Dynamix Youth awards 2009. Sources who schooled with her in Benin republic reveal she was the hottest item on campus then and it was unsurprising when rumors started flying around that she was pregnant for the popstar. She got cozy with wizkid after a performance in the school. The dark skinned beauty who resides with her parents in Magodo is now rounding off her NYSC program somewhere in Lagos. Shola is the same age with wizkid (23) and after the birth of her son, Bolu, Wizkid denied being the father until a paternity test proved him wrong. This caused a lot of friction between Shola’s family and Wizkid’s, but funny enough things have calmed down now cause whenever Tife, as he is fondly called is at Wizzy’s family home, everybody is always happy. They shower the child a lot of love, and my source reveals that Wizkid does not joke with Tife…he loves the boy unconditionally and even makes surprise visits to his baby mama’s home in Magodo to see his son. She is currently dating a guy who works at a network provider firm.

My baby has made me an overnite celebrity, OAU Undergraduate Mother

22-year-old student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state who was rumoured to flush her baby inside one of the toilets in her hostel after giving birth narrates what actually went down. When the news first broke, a lot of people vilified her. It was reported that she wanted to get rid of what many would describe as a bundle of joy. People thus wondered why a 22-year-old undergraduate would try to flush away her baby in one of the toilets in Moremi Hall, her hall of residence at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Without clarifying the circumstances that led to the delivery in the toilet, they went on to social media networks, putting on trial Miss Oyinlola Rotimi, the 400-Level student of Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology at OAU, who delivered a baby boy on Wednesday. While the news went round the campus, the traumatised young mother was hurriedly taken to the institution’s Health Centre by two cleaners, Mrs. Shipebi Grace and Mrs. Cecilia Ologbenla. The social media was further flooded with stories that Oyinlola wanted to kill her baby. The OAU management investigated the matter and found out it was not true. Rotimi, who was discharged from the hospital on Friday, has also narrated her own side of the story. In spite of the trauma she had passed through since last Wednesday, the student, a native of Ijabe, a border town between Osun and Kwara states, says she is happy that the embarrassment she received from the controversy that surrounded the birth of her baby has turned into a blessing for her. She says the baby’s birth has made her more popular and important in the society. ‘God has the best plan for me’ “Why would I flush or kill my baby after going through the pains of carrying him for about good nine months? I am not heartless and I thank God for my life and the safe delivery. I know God has the best plan for me and my baby. I seriously appreciate the cleaners for their assistance because I got here (health centre) before I understood everything that happened to me. I am happy that I am alive and my baby is alive too. I’m also using this opportunity to thank the VC, the doctors and nurses, my lecturers and everybody because they all stood by me. They all became my father, my mother and everything to me. “Right now, I can call myself a celebrity and definitely I’m going to be greater than a celebrity. My baby too is going to be great. Look at the circumstance that surrounds his birth, just some days old, he is already all over in the news around the world and everybody is happy to see him or hear about his story. He will surely go beyond where I am now. He has turned me into a kind of celebrity. ” Circumstances surrounding the baby’s birth “I was purging all through the night and I had no idea of what labour pain was all about. Actually, I was feeling pressed, I can’t call it a labour pain because I was visiting the toilet all through the night till that morning. I just went to the toilet to go and purge when I noticed something just came out of me which I found out was the baby. The baby entered the closet. I was just there shouting, bleeding and people who saw the blood came out to help me alongside the baby. “I was really scared! I was not expecting a baby. I went to the toilet but seeing a baby was terrifying because I was not expecting him or her to come out yet. It is absolutely not true that I took to my heels when people came to help me. It happened in Moremi Hall toilet and the toilet is a public one where everybody takes their bath, fetch water and clean up. So, some people were around fetching water, having their bath as usual, while I was in the toilet planning to defecate. My friend called the cleaner for help because she was an elderly woman. I was very scared and people around too couldn’t help because we are all young female students. The cleaner later helped to carry the baby out and brought it to the Health Centre along with me.” Her plan for the baby “I will continue to keep him more handsome, healthier and nurture him to attain greater height in life. But what he will become later in life is not for me to decide but he will definitely become what God wants him to become. I will just try to train him in God’s way and I am sure His (God) plan for his life will be realised.” The bean cake she ate deceived her – CSO According to the institution’s Chief Security Officer, Mr. Paul Ogidi, Rotimi thought she had stomach upset instead of labour pains because of the bean cake she took before going to bed. “She got to campus late at night on Tuesday and it was learnt that she could not immediately get herself something to eat but later resolved to buy beans cake within the campus. After eating the snack, she complained severely of running stomach, urinated and defecated at regular intervals. “She felt her stomach disorder was caused by the bean cake that she took the previous night – not knowing it was labour pains.” Varsity law does not forbid pregnancy – OAU Authorities of OAU have blamed the improper use of the social media for the allegation that Oyinlola attempted to flush her baby away. The Head of Public Relations, Mr. Biodun Olarenwaju, who spoke on behalf of the management, described the incident as a “social media rumour.” He said, “Social media is designed primarily to disseminate information. But in the Nigerian context, many people disseminate rumours. The only information that should be seen there should be those persons who have the authority to speak concerning that particular incident. “The only truth in the social media episode is that a bouncing baby boy was delivered in the toilet of the female hostel in our university. Other tales on the social media were totally incorrect. Students should not encourage rumour mongering because of the image of the person involved. They have to be careful not to make rumour the news.” He explained that it was legal for the student to have delivered the baby in the school, stating that universities are institutions for adults. “It is not a crime for a student to be pregnant. There is no law or decree that states that a student should be punished, an adult for that matter, for getting pregnant. And there is no law in this university that states that an undergraduate cannot become pregnant,” he added. ‘My friend didn’t plan to kill her baby’ Rotimi’s friend, Oluwayemisi Satope, who was in Room 103, Block B of Moremi Hall, together with the undergraduate mother, the night before the incident, said Oyinlola was willing to have the baby. She explained that there was no attempt by them to kill the boy. She added, “The truth of the matter is that we don’t know how to go about it when we saw the baby. It was our first time and we didn’t want to make a mistake. I had to call Mama Cleaner to assist us. Immediately it happened, I was the first person to shout for help and two cleaners appeared to assist. “Diana (Rotimi) had to spend the night on campus to enable her to prepare for her 8:00 am examination the next day, because she stays off-campus. That mid-night, she started complaining of stomach upset and was visiting toilet regularly. A few minutes to 7:00am, she went to the toilet to defecate but delivered a baby.” Students name baby after VC And as soon as the birth and survival of the baby became known on campus, students in their characteristic manner, launched into an unsolicited naming feast for the baby. Before the official naming ceremony scheduled to hold on Wednesday (tomorrow), OAU students have named him after the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bamitale Omole. At the Anglo-Moz Car Park of the university, they gathered and named the baby Moremigbemi (Moremi-blesses-me), Oriyomi (My-head-saves-me), Oluwadayisi (God-protects-this), Eniolorunopa (He-who-God-does-not-kill), Bamitale (Be-with-me-permanently) Omole. Others at the Moremi Hall named the baby Orisamoremi (Deity Moremi), Moremidayisi (Moremi-protects-this), Omomoremi (Child-of-Moremi), Olorunwa (God-exists), Oniyapupo (One-with-many-mothers) Moremioku (Moremi-is-alive), Iyabo (Mother-Moremi-is-Back), among others. Moremi is a mythical legend of the Yoruba race. We forced the door open to rescue Oyinlola, baby – Cleaners Also, the two cleaners, Mrs. Shipebi Grace and Mrs. Cecilia Ologbenla, in a chat with our correspondents, said there was no evidence to prove that Oyinlola wanted to kill her baby. The cleaners noted that they had to force the door open when they were called to ensure the safety of Oyinlola and her baby who was crying. According to them, the baby was in the water closet when they entered the toilet. “She would not have wanted to attempt to kill the baby the way we saw her. She only panicked when we forced the door in. We had to force the door in because of the cry of the baby. In fact, it was one of them that came to call us, but you know some students are impatient. They didn’t confirm what happened before they started spreading rumour.” Undergraduate father keeps mum Meanwhile, efforts made by our correspondents to speak with the baby’s father proved abortive. He is a 400 Level student of Mechanical Engineering, and is sitting for the second semester examination currently on at the institution. One of his friends who spoke on the condition of anonymity explained that the young father is very sober about the development. The friend alleged that the young man and Rotimi had been friends for some time. Along the line, Oyinlola got pregnant and they decided not to abort it in order not to compound their ‘sin’.

security man Steals N12m ,after braking the ATM

A security man and employee of First Bank Nigeria Plc, Jibowu Branch, Seyi Jaiyeola, is standing trial at a magistrate’s court in Ebute Meta for allegedly breaking the bank automated teller machine and stealing a sum of N12, 533,900.
The bank’s branch Service Manager, Mr. Kayode Aiyewunmi, who gave evidence in court, said Jaiyeola was on a N20, 000 monthly pay and was a member of the Odua People’s Congress. He said the company had observed that one of the bank’s four ATMs was having a reconciliation problem and had employed the service of an expert to help unravel mysterious disappearances of money. Aiyewunmi said, “We discovered that there was always a shortage of cash in the machine. “Despite our reconciliation efforts, the ATM was still having problems and we engaged the service of an expert who submitted his report and said the machine did not have any reconciliation issue. “He said somebody was breaking into the machine in the middle of the night to steal the cash. “I reported the matter to my boss, who said I should conduct an investigation into the matter. “When the last breakage happened, we went to play back the branch’s CCTV, and we now saw Jaiyeola in the middle of the night, opening the window at the back of my office. He also took the police to the building he was constructing which was near completion.” He said after recovering the item, First Bank transferred the matter to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba. Jaiyeola was arraigned on a five counts of fraud and stealing and was subsequently granted bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum. the case as been adjourned till July 15.

Starting from November Nigerians to start paying £3, 000, before they can enter the UK.

Starting from November this year ,any Nigerian planing to travel down to uk,should be prepare to pay extra £3, 000 ,The Sunday Times newspaper said that from November, a pilot scheme would target visitors from those three countries plus Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Ghana. Visitors aged 18 and over would be forced to hand over £3,000 ($4,600, 3,500 euros) from November for a six-month visit visa. They will forfeit the money if they overstay in Britain after their visa has expired. Initially the scheme will target hundreds of visitors, but the plan is to extend it to several thousand, according to the broadsheet’s front-page report. The weekly paper said the move by Home Secretary Theresa May is designed to show that Prime Minister David Cameron’s Conservative Party is serious about cutting immigration and abuses of the system. The populist United Kingdom Independence Party has been encroaching on the Conservatives’ traditional core vote in recent months. Cameron wants annual net migration down below 100,000 by 2015. “This is the next step in making sure our immigration system is more selective, bringing down net migration from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands while still welcoming the brightest and the best to Britain,” May was quoted as saying. “In the long run we’re interested in a system of bonds that deters overstaying and recovers costs if a foreign national has used our public services.” A Home Office official said the six countries highlighted were those with “the most significant risk of abuse”. Last year 296,000 people granted six-month visas were from India, 101,000 from Nigeria, 53,000 from Pakistan and 14,000 each were from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

How Seun Adaramoye Was Murdered

, seun adaramoye was an undergraduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Lautech, before she was murdered, Seun left her hostel last week Sunday to visit her boyfriend and that was the last time she was seen alive. Ngozi her friend explains how Seun left them that evening to her boyfriend's place while they were all chatting. Seun's murdered picture below. Viewers discretion is advised please. These is a very very sad story to share“,Seun Adaramoye was an 100 level accounting student, before she was murdered she stayed in Stadium area around Lawyer Ahmed Junction, she’s a hostel mate and also my friend. On Sunday evening (16th of June), we were all gisting outside the hostel as we normally do and around 5pm, Seun just said she’s coming and left. She was on casual outfits like all of us, so we thought she had gone to the junction to buy stuffs but she went to her best friend’s place not far from the hostel. “When Seun was leaving her best friend’s apartment, she told her that she wants to quickly get to her boyfriend’s place in Oke-Anu around 7pm on that same Sunday evening and that was the last time we both saw Seun. “We didn’t even notice on time that she hasn’t returned cos she’s a female and no one can monitor a grown lady, so we assume that she should be with her boyfriend Lanre(REAL NAME) not until wednesday morning when Seun refused to show up for her last paper. Her friend came to check on her in the hostel and it was then that she informed us that Seun is no where to be found, we searched and searched for Seun but all to no avail. On Thursday morning, we decided to report her dissappearance to the school authorities, that was when we heard the news of a dead body which was discovered at the back of Jastok Guest House…On getting there, we couldn’t identify the body because several parts of her body had been cut off, her breast, one hand, half her head was gone. We were eventually able to recognise Seun by her hairdo and mark on her leg, her birth mark and the remains of her cloth on the body. So the police and the SUG were invited and they went after the boyfriend who had obviously absconded, so he has not been arrested as been speculated but his best friend was arrested. People thought he was arrested because of the search and the arrest of his best friend but he hasn’t been found till now, he’s gone into exile…On Searching Lanre’s house, the police found mysterious things like Calabash, Ladies Bra, Panties, Nails and several underwears. Our friend Seun was NEVER a runs girl, she was a very gentle and loving soul, she was just unlucky to have fallen a victim of some desperate souls. She has since been buried by her brother here in Ogbomosho because the body was already decaying with worms all over and moreover it’s an uncompleted body and they won’t bury her like that in her hometown…May Her Soul .

Meet seyi Kolade Nigerian woman who have slept with 370 men

Approaching a man at a bar, Seyi Kolade had only one thing on her mind as she chatted with the stranger - sex. Within hours the pair were in bed together and she was delighted at how her evening had panned out. And this was not a chance encounter, for Seyi was a sex addict and it was what she did almost every day for 13 years. Last night she said: “Sex addiction took hold of my life.” Seyi, 35, was just 17 when she became dependent on sleeping with men. By 19 she'd had 40 partners and she says she has bedded a shocking total of 370 men. Her dangerous addiction led her to a life of destruction - catching sexually transmitted infections, being evicted from her home and having two terminations. By the age of 30, Seyi had hit rock bottom and needed help. Today, after attending numerous sex addiction meetings and 12-step programmes, Seyi has been celibate for four years and is helping others like her. She explains says: “Sex addiction is something people associate with men, but it took hold of my life for more than 13 years. “It was a craving and a fear of how I’d feel if I couldn’t get it. “Once I did, it was a huge relief, like a weight was lifted. “It’s like any addiction. It made me selfish, self-destructive and depressed but it was a cycle I couldn’t escape.” She adds: “I lost my virginity when I was 13 with my first boyfriend. “I was shocked when I fell pregnant. I gave birth when I was 14. It was a very difficult time.” Social services arranged a nanny to look after her daughter, Sarah, from six weeks old. Being a young mum scarred Seyi’s childhood. She says: “I moved out of home when I was 16 with Sarah and lived in a mother and baby unit. I felt terribly lonely. I craved affection, I was miserable.” Moving into a housing association home at 17, Seyi met then-boyfriend Paul, 31. It was now that she began to use sex to replace her feelings of loneliness. She says: “When I started having sex with my boyfriend I thought it was the answer and would stop me feeling so lonely. But it wasn’t enough.” Going to bars, Seyi, from Birmingham, cheated on Paul at least once a week with strangers or men she would meet regularly. She says: “I needed sex and afterwards it was a relief. When I couldn’t have sex my confidence would plummet, I felt ugly and went into a spiral of upset and frustration, feeling unworthy and needing another fix as soon as possible.” Seyi fell pregnant at 17 with son, Andrew. She says: “I told Paul it was his although there was some doubt in my mind. After I gave birth I tried to stay faithful. I wanted sex with him four to five times a day, but the attention from him wasn’t enough. “When the pent-up sexual frustration became too much, I’d go elsewhere and get validation through sex. “I cheated on him three times in six months, then fell pregnant again.” Devastated and unable to look after another child, Seyi made the decision to have her baby terminated. She says: “It wasn’t fair on the child to have them. I didn’t know whose baby it was so I didn’t tell Paul. I wanted our relationship to work but we split up when I was 19.” Seyi’s heartbreak made her sex addiction go wild. She says: “The only cure for my loneliness was sex. I had five guys I could meet with for sex when I wanted and was also sleeping with strangers. I’d go to bars and easily pick one up. Being good in bed made me feel worthy.” By 22 Seyi had caught chlamydia twice. Going out almost every night while her children were looked after by friends and family, all she could think about was sex. She says: “Between the ages of 22 to 30, life was a blur, my addiction had taken over. “I was sleeping with five to six men, or meeting strangers for sex at bars weekly. I fell pregnant again at 26. I felt I had no choice but to have a termination. I got drunk and had sex After the procedure. “I don’t know how I managed to keep my job as a management consultant. I took lots of sick days when I craved sex and couldn’t face the office. I even slept with a colleague. “I was evicted for not paying rent when I was 29 and had to send my children to live with my family.” While staying with a friend Seyi saw the documentary The Secret, about the laws of attraction. She says: “I knew I had a problem but never stopped to think about being a sex addict. I realised I needed help.” After quitting her job to concentrate on her recovery Seyi, then 31, went to an addiction meeting. She says: “There were six others there and when I listened to their stories it cured my nerves. I didn’t stop craving sex straight away but cut down slowly.” Since August 2009 she has been celibate. She says: “I’m so proud of myself. I’ve craved sex but the programme lets me know the trigger signs. “I don’t plan on having sex any time soon. If the right guy comes along and I feel I’m in a stable, loving relationship, I’d feel safe to do it. I have my children back living with me and feel I’m no longer a sex addict. “I’d hate to think where my life would be now if I hadn’t sought help.” Despite her recovery, Seyi lives with the guilt of her addiction. She says: “I could have passed on STIs, I had two terminations and my kids didn’t have the attention they deserved. “I’ve now trained as an inspirational speaker and happiness advocate. At workshops and seminars I can help others understand what sex addiction is, where it comes from and recovery. “Being celibate has given me my life back. I want to help others do the same.”

"I Really Really Loved Iyanya '- Yvonne Nelson Reveals In New Interview

The Ghanaian actress had a very revealing interview with Bella Naijatoday where she opened up about her relationship with Iyanya and how much he hurt her. Excerpts:
BN: How long did the two of you date and how would you describe the relationship?
YN: We dated for 7 to 8 months. We had something and I thought it was special, like he was a wonderful guy but it was all lies. He had other girls and other things he was doing. Aside the actress that was in the picture, there were a lot more. That is how bad it is. We were in a relationship and he lied throughout and he was able to do all those things because I wasn't living in Nigeria. But aside from the distance, I feel if you're a genuine person and you're loyal, you would still not do that.BN: Is this actress you're talking about actually Tonto Dikeh?
YN: I feel it's disrespectful to start mentioning other people'snames. I am talking about Iyanya because we had a thing, I don't want to bring in a third person. There were a lot of names that people know. There was a girl from South Africa,I'm not going to mention names but she was part of Big Brother Africa last year.More when you continue...
BN: Most people only got to know that you and Iyanya were dating after you broke up. Were you deliberately being secretive about it?
YN: I also don't believe in putting my relationships in the faces of people. We both had our careers and were trying to protect our fan base and that's cool. But if you go through my Instagram page, you'd see a couple of pictures of us together. I wasn't shy about anything but he could not say he's dating Yvonne Nelson because he had different people he was seeing so it was very hard for him to bring it out.
BN:What did the experience teach you?
YN: There are some things that you don't get to learn in school; people can't advice you, you won't even listen. You just have to experience it to learn. I have no regrets that I went through it, it would have happened anyway. We are allhuman beings. We fall in love once in a while but if it doesn't work out, that's OK.
BN: Have you moved on since then?
YN: I have! It happened last year but I've moved on. I've been working hard, been producing movies. I still listen to his music, I love his album. I love the Track 1 with MI and I love, 'I Got It'. He is a very talented guy, I always have goose bumps on my body when he sings.
BN: Aside from the music, what else was the attraction?
YN: You can't really explain when you love somebody. It's everything. It was just something that I felt and I can't explain. It was love, I really really loved him and he knows that.
BN: How do you feel about him now and what message would you like to pass on to him if you had the chance?
YN: Iyanya is such an amazing person but I just feel he needs to be more honest and be a man of his words. It's notgood if he takes advantage of women. My Mum always says any man who takes advantage of women won't end up well. It's Karma, it's going to come back to you. He should treat women fairly and he should be an honest person. It's been awhile though, I haven't seen him. He is doing amazing things in his career and I wish him luck.

Trader in borno caught six boko haram member

Six suspected Boko Haram gunmen were on Wednesday arrested by traders at Gamboru market in Maiduguri, Borno State, and handed them over to men of the Joint Task Force, JTF, according to eyewitnesses. Eyewitnesses said when the gunmen entered the market, they were spotted by a trader who saw weapons hidden under their garments. “It was a trader that alerted us when he saw them and we immediately trailed and rounded them up,” a 36-year-old grocery merchant in Maiduguri, Babagana Aji said. “We caught them before they could bring out their guns. After we succeeded in disarming them, we beat them blue and black before handing them over to the soldiers.” Sanusi Dantakai, who is also a trader at the market said Gamboru traders were fed and couldn’t take more of the attacks on them in their own land, prompting their action. “This Gamboru market had suffered several attacks. Boko Haram has set it on fire twice and killed several traders and an orange vendor, among others,” he said. “We are tired of the losses we incur at every attack carried out by Boko Haram. That was why we summoned courage to catch them today.” Just as residents have joined in the offensive against the Islamist sect in Borno, suspected Boko Haram members, yesterday evening, detonated an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, in Maiduguri, targeting the patrol vehicle of the JTF. Spokesman of the JTF, Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa and the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Gideon Jubrin, could however not be reached for confirmation as total network blackout remains in the state with the emergency rule still in place
